Adobe™ Flash |
Adobe™ Flash is a platform used for creating various types of media content such as graphics, animation, audio, video and interactive media. Flash is most commonly used to display animated and/or interactive content on web pages and in more recent years has been used to develop RIA’s as well. Flash has also become the leader in delivering videos online through sites such YouTube™ , Digg™ etc.
Flash files are available in 2 formats – swf format and flv format. The swf format is used to for embedding Flash objects to web pages. The flv format is used for playing Flash video files using the Flash Player or any other flv supporting media player. ActionScript is the core language on which the Flash platform is built. Flash is currently available as part of the Adobe™ CS4 package.
